As the Director of DGL Mining Solutions, Darren provides expert statutory coverage, Open Cut Examiner (OCE) and supervisory services, contractor management, compliance audits, and mentoring for the next generation of mining professionals.
Holding an Open Cut Examiner's Certificate since 2003, Darren has worked across a broad range of operational and rehabilitation projects for some of Australia's leading mining companies, including Anglo American, BHP, Peabody and major mining contractors.
His experience spans production, drill and blast, dragline operations, contractor management,
mine rehabilitation, safety leadership, and statutory compliance.
Known for his practical, hands-on approach, Darren works closely with clients to deliver safe, compliant and efficient outcomes while building strong working relationships on site.
